Cold outbound is dead, supposedly

Cold outbound is dead, supposedly.

It is not. Generic outbound is dead. There is a difference.

The stuff that does not work is the spray: same message, thousand contacts, zero homework. Buyers have an infinite supply of that and zero patience for it.

What still works is outbound that earns the reply. A specific observation about their business. A reason you are reaching out now. A first message that gives something before it asks for anything.

The channel is not the problem. The laziness is.

Same inbox, two messages: one gets deleted, one gets a meeting. The difference was never the channel.
